Harrisville Fire Department - Mutual Aide Associations
BURRILLVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENTS
The Harrisville Fire Department is very involved in providing local mutual aid, and also is the beneficiary of reciprocal assistance. Engine 22 and Ladder 2 respond on the initial dispatch to all structure fires in the Pascaog and Oakland-Mapleville Fire Districts. Engine 22 is a key piece of apparatus in the RI Fire Chiefs Foam Task Force, helping to protect several communities in northwestern Rhode Island. Rescue 2 and Fire-Medic 2 are active in providing EMS mutual aid for our neighbors.
There are four fire districts in the Town of Burrillville, each of which maintains its own fire department. The departments work in conjuction to protect the residents of the town.
