The Harrisville Fire Department is an avid supporter of activities within the village of Harrisville and Town of Burrillville. We take a keen interest in the youth of our town and sponsor many programs to benefit children and their education, as well as the adult population. The members of the Hose Company donate their time for these efforts and any funds donated are from the Hose Company treasury.

Adopt-A-Spot

The department also participates in the Adopt-a-spot program to help beautify our town. The rotary in front of the fire station is maintained by department personnel throughout the year, which adds to the aesthetic quality of Harrisville Center as people enter from Sherman Farm Road and Callahan School Street.

Holiday Lighting

The Harrisville Fire Department annually decorates the Town Gazebo and Harrisville Center for the holiday season, so as to help bring yuletide cheer to the townsfolk. The Hose Comapny secured grants from the Town of Burrillville Millenium Fund and Ocean State Power, as well as assistance from the Pascoag Utility District electric division. Harrisville FD members assembled the lights and keep them in working order. Let us know what you think of the new decorations!!

Community Honor Roll

The Community honor roll was implemented in order to recognize those that have been of extraordinary service to the Hose Company or Fire Department. In some way, each person listed on the honor roll has performed above the call of duty. It is our privilege to recognize these outstanding members of our community.
